About Peak Industrial Inc.

Peak Industrial was created as the parent company of several businesses in the field of transportation, construction and allied industrial applications.  The business is primarily a family owned entity, now being run by the third generation of the Pugh family along with other capable partners.

It all began with Warren E. Pugh who began his industrial career working for Cummins Engine Company in 1942.  In 1943 Warren was given the opportunity to become the original Cummins Distributor in Utah and Idaho.  Warren ran the business until 1974 when his son Lorin Pugh became the new distributor and his other son Don became the general manager.  Cummins Intermountain was run by Lorin until 2006.  In 1987 Don was given the opportunity to purchase Cummins Northwest located in Seattle, Washington, which he operated until 2006.

During those years the Pugh’s expanded into other industrial lines ncluding Thermo King Intermountain in 1970 and Thermo King Northwest in 1990.  Don sold Thermo King Northwest in 2006 to his partners including his son Brandon who was the President, JR Zundel, Dennis Parker and Russ Bowdidge. In 2011 Don and his sons James and Tim purchased Thermo King Intermountain.  Peak Industrial now combines these two dealerships under one organization.

Other major brands have been added over the years including: Club Car, Bobcat and JCB.

The goal of Peak Industrial is the same as Warren Pugh’s original philosophy which was to provide excellent care to customers and a great place for employees to work. He valued a balanced life of family, community service and devotion to one’s religious beliefs.  The goal of the owners is to continue these basic tenants of the founder and the generations that have and will follow.

We look forward to solving your needs through our great employees, facilities and representing the best products in the industry.
